Some people may say that they play certain games for the graphical qualities.

If you actually know how, Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare is one of the nicest looking games. A good tip is that for one, almost all games made today look better on wdescreen monitors. If you are not using a widescreen monitor, then you may want to do your video recording, and screenshots on a resolution such as 1280x720 which is standard for 1080 HD and put your game on windowed mode.

You can changed to windowed mode by going to Activitsion/Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare/Profiles/Your Profile Name and editing the fullscreen value to 0 in a text document or doing the console command /r_fullscreen 0. This can be changed back after.

YOU MUST DO /vid_restart AFTER YOU CHANGE THE FULLSCREEN VALUE

Default value for /r_fullscreen is 1.

Yes it is that easy, I was amazed too. The only problem is that this only works on a mod if it is set to that value or if a server is set to devmap.

yes it is good for making a video.. open a devmap map then change all the settings like specular, lighttweak contrast etc..then open demo and record using avidemo 250.. yea i always do that
