Configs/FPS

I have been in a slump (period of doing bad) u could say and the main reason for this it
my bodymovement is just not there. I have not had very good FPS/ Reg in my past but I wouldn't blame it on that.

I have a couple questions:

1) When you type /cg_drawfps 1 and get that number in top rigth of you screen (FPS). Dose that kind of FPS stand for Feet per Second or what dose it stand for?

2) Dose it make you move/run faster?

3) Do you want high or low FPS?

4) Do you guys download configs?

5) Should I download a config?

I have been reading up on configs like yitch and such. I've seen some configs on YouTube and they seem to move a lot faster than me!

Please answer as many of my questions above as you can xD thanks!

well idk wat fps stands for but it gives you better movement when high but icant be ass to explain how it makes your playing better and i forgot it gives you better hits

1) /cg_drawfps 1 is a command which tells your fps on the right hand top corner of the desktop screen, Fps Stands for Frame per second. Not Feet per second.

2) Fps Does make you jump higher, i don't know about movement. From what i have tested is that when you have 333 fps you can jump allot higher then 125 fps. so having more fps Does changes your jump height. But then again i test speed with low and high fps there was no change.

3) You can boost your Fps with the following commands:


/r_drawdecals 0
/r_drawsun 0
/r_drawwater 0
/cg_drawfps 1
/cg_fov 80
/cg_brass 0
/snaps 20

/cl_maxpackets 100

/com_maxfps 200[Ok this is your fps, if you have low graphic card yu can put your fps to 50-60, everything below 40 is bad
the default fps of every player is 125. Mine is 200

4) Configs are nothing but a big ball of chewed grass coming out of a cow's ass, its a load of bullshit i say. why would you use other people's config, as if your gonna be good as them eh? i don't think so. use whatever your comfortable with, make everything work with whatever graphic card computer you have.

I now have a steady 125 FPS!!
